Own a Piece of History & Disney Magic

To celebrate the centennial of the Hollywood Sign, Fine Art Vacations commissioned one of America's masters of hyper realism to paint this notable scene from Steamboat Willie on a section of the Original Hollywood sign. No other figure epitomizes Disney like Mickey Mouse. Thomas Stiltz pays tribute to the legendary character by painting the iconic image from Steamboat Willie that introduced the world to Mickey Mouse. No other artwork combines the history of Hollywood and the magic of Disney (who also just celebrated their 100th anniversary) quite like this one-of-a-kind piece.

Authenticy & Provenance

The provenance is impeccable for the section of the Hollywood Sign. The owners of Fine Art Vacations acquired it from Desi DosSantos & Jeff Castillo, owners of Screen-Used. Desi is retired and lives in California, and Jeff continues to do movie props auctions under the brand name "Icons of Pop Culture". Screen-Used in turn had purchased the section of the Hollywood Sign from acclaimed film producer Dan Bliss, who owned the original Hollywood Sign.

You can watch the video of the cutting of the metal on our site below.
